Infinix Hot 9 | Main Specs, Price & Review

By | May 18, 2020

Infinix Hot 9 – Infinix Hot 8 was quite a smartphone with all its unique attributes and design, but now we can leave that behind and await the coming of a new smartphone in the Hot series. Infinix Hot 9 guarantees to be a capable upgrade to the Infinix hot 8.

Announced on the 23rd of March 2020, it has an improved design, processor, camera and features. One thing Infinix smartphones have been offering us is impressive devices at affordable prices.

The smartphone is not completely out yet therefore every information presented to you is based on the little information shared by Infinix and calculated assumptions. We witnessed the launch of the Infinix Note 7 some days ago and to be honest, the specs were too good to be true.

Initially, the Infinix Hot 9 was expected to be released before the Infinix note 7, but we can all agree this year has seen quite a lot of abnormalities. Without further delay, below are the specs;

infinix hot 9

Main Specs

Display: It features a 6.6 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen measuring 165.4 x 76.8x 8.8mm with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. This implies that it will have an 85-90% screen to body ratio.

Processor: An Android 10 and XOS 6.0 as OS. An Octa-core CPU and MediaTek Helio A25 chipset.

RAM 2 GB 3 GB 3 GB 4 GB 4GB
ROM 32 GB 32 GB 64 GB 64GB 128 GB

One of the greatly adored properties of the Infinix Note 7 is it 48 MP main camera. The Hot 9 was expected to come with a 13 or 16 MP quad-camera system.

13 MP + 2 MP was the Infinix hot 8 camera spec, so it’s logical to guess Infinix hot 9 is going to have a 16 MP camera.

Something Like this: 13 MP or 16 MP, (wide) PDAF- 2 MP (macro)- 2 MP (depth)- QVGA (low light sensor). It will also have a Triple-LED flash, panorama, Face detection and HDR feature.

Selfie: 8 MP (wide).

Considering the Note 7’s camera system, you might expect an improvement on the Hot 9’s. For now, I can’t assure you of any but there should be.

Battery: Built in 5000 mAh.

SIM: Dual Nano-SIM.

Sensors: Rear-mounted fingerprint, face unlock, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and compass.

Colours: Matte Black, Cyan, Violet and Light Blue.

It weighs around 185 grams, supports 4g network and external memory storage. Also supports WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and FM Radio.

The Infinix hot 8 launch price was estimated at $133. Like I said earlier the Infinix hot 9 is not out yet so there is no completely certain detail about it.

The Infinix hot 9 will be priced at a range of $100-$150. Which will be quite reasonable for a smartphone of its attributes.

Being practical, it might not be what we expected from the new series in the Infinix hot but it’s definitely an improvement on Infinix hot 8. Its price perfectly matches its features.

The Infinix Hot 9 as of April 2020 has made its debut in some countries like Indonesia, Pakistan, India and so on, although it’s not available in most countries in Europe and Africa yet. This might take a long wait because of the COVID 19 pandemic.
